Can the dealership install Guidepoint in house?
Yes, in about an hour PLUS we offer complete installation training, if needed.

Will Guidepoint affect the electronics in my car? 
No. All Guidepoint products have been designed to work within the automotive environment.

Does the system need a separate antenna?
No additional antenna is needed.   The Guidepoint antenna is built into the module.

Are there monthly fees?
The Guidepoint Stolen Vehicle Recovery System has no additional fee’s, although we do offer many optional annual service plans.

What is a GAP switch?
The Gap Switch or as we call it the Guidepoint Access Panel includes the system LED that provides a visual indicator that the system is on - as well as providing a visual theft deterrent.

Is the system transferrable and upgradeable?
Yes. All Guidepoint systems are both transferable and upgradeable.

Can a Guidepoint system be used on lease cars? 
Yes. Guidepoint can be installed on any type of vehicle, including lease cars.

Can vehicle owners track their own vehicle?
Yes. Guidepoint offers multiple plans that provide online vehicle tracking.

Does Guidepoint offer any Onstar type services? 
Yes, Guidepoint offers multiple optional service plans that include: Roadside assistance, On-Call emergency service dispatch, complete concierge services, navigation assistance and more.

Does Guidepoint qualify for any insurance discounts?  
The Guidepoint Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems does qualify for insurance discounts in many states.  Because insurance discounts vary from state to state we recommend checking with your insurance agent for specific discounts.

I already sell Lojack in my dealership, why should I offer Guidepoint?
