You've Got Family Down in Texas!

Hello All,

Hope you enjoyed your summer!

I'm Clyde, and I am the Customer Relations Manager here at Guidepoint. I work at our call center here in Fort Worth, Texas. I wanted to take a minute to introduce this part of the Guidepoint family to you.

In case you didn't know, we are the team that takes care of you after you've purchased your vehicle and had the Guidepoint system installed. Every time you press that button on your dash, you're connected to our facility and team of highly trained, dedicated service specialists.

We provide just about any service you can get in the vehicle. If you're in an accident, we send emergency services directly to your location. If your vehicle is stolen, we work directly with local police to pinpoint your vehicle and lead officers to its location. We even help you with driving directions, ordering flowers and helping you evaluate the best Guidepoint service plan for you. We don't outsource you to some generic call center; we take our commitment to your well-being very seriously.

Speaking of well-being, late October means that the weather is changing, and snow and ice may be closer than we think for some parts of the country. We want you to be safe, so be sure to take precautions. Install a remote starter to warm up your vehicle before you get in it. Leave the heat and defrost on to make it easier to clear your windows. Carry chains where necessary, and make sure your car is well-maintained.

Finally, take care of the most important part of your vehicle: the driver! Use extra caution on dangerous roads, and avoid driving tired or distracted. Leave your wireless phone in the seat or use a hands free system or headset. And most important, please wait until you are safely stopped before texting or checking email.

On behalf of all of us here in the call center, I want to thank you for entrusting us with your safety while on the road, and as winter weather approaches, we'll be here if you need us.

Clyde Landis, Customer Relations Manager, Guidepoint Systems
